Elective Module Description

The Interior Design Applied Learning Module offers students a comprehensive exploration of design principles alongside the integration of smart home technologies. Through hands-on experiences, students will  be engaged with industry-standard interior design software, gaining proficiency in digital design tools essential for modern practice. 


In addition, students conceptualize and design prototype homes that embody innovative and sustainable practices. They will also learn about smart home environments using micro:bit programming and sensors. This collaborative learning approach equips students with the skills to excel in interior design, preparing them to address the evolving needs of contemporary living environments and contribute to the creation of smarter, more efficient homes.
