DRONE PROGRAMMING WORKSHOP

Course Information

In this workshop, participants in groups will be taught basic drag and drop coding language to command the drone to fly in specified routes. They will explore different commands in the 3 axis of flight. Participants will be guided to conduct a science experiment to find out the average speed of the drone. From the data they collected, they would be tasked to apply their knowledge to sequence a code for the drone to complete an obstacle course. The group that completes the mission in the shortest time wins.

TECHNOLOGY


Trainer will share about the technology involved in autonomous drones, drone swarming capabilities and how drones connectivity work in networks.

Participants of this workshop will learn physics concepts like four forces of flight, how drones work, and various functions of the electronic components that make up a drone.

Participants will get to activate, fix up the drones and sequence the codes for the drone to fly. They will have to learn how to maintain the drones especially after they crash.
