Course Information

The DIY Hovercraft workshop will teach participants about the origin of hovercrafts and its uses. The students will learn the basic structure of the Hovercraft and the principle of how it works. They will also learn the advantages of the Hovercraft and its future. The workshop teaches the application of science concepts through experiencing flying a hovercraft, communication and coordination amongst teams while they rotate to fly. This workshop uses a hands-on approach as a way to spark and sustain interest in Aviation and Drones.

  2. Understanding about the future of UAVs 
  3. Appreciate the need to ensure personal safety and safety of others around
  4. Hand-eye coordination and motor skills while flying the hovercraft.
EnGINEERING


Trainer will guide the students to build up their own hovercraft using .simple raw materials. They will have to design some parts, and assemble them up before conducting a flight test.

Participants of this workshop will learn physics concepts like four forces of flight, how drones work, and various functions of the electronic components that make up a drone.

STEM ELEMENTS

It is very fun. I am very interested in drones and this helped me to control a drone better. I also learn about how a vehicle can hover above ground and water.
