LED CARD WORKSHOP

Course Information

Participants will be introduced to basic electronics; they will learn simple parallel and series circuits using user friendly materials. This workshop allows participants to learn electronics concepts in a fun and creative manner, and to apply science concepts through creating a LED greeting card. They will also understand the value and sincerity of making a greeting card personally themselves compared to buying one off the shelf.

**Each participant will take home one LED card**

  1. Basic introduction to Light energy, understanding LED and real-life applications of LED
  2. Hands-on learning through creating a customised LED greeting card
  3. Series and parallel circuit, identify electronic components and how they function in a circuit
  4. Application of Science concepts by using Chibitronics to form circuits
  5. Inculcate the value of appreciation to others through DIY for someone they love.

Participants will be introduced to new LED technology and applications. They will learn how Chibitronics and Micro LED works, and advanced technology in Electronics. 

STEM ELEMENTS

It is very interesting that I can DIY a greeting card with such a small LED and flat electronic circuit. Overall the experience was wonderful.
